John McMullen 76, of Carmel passed away June 11, 2013. He was born in Saginaw MI, October 12 1936, to the late Marcel and Marian McMullen. John enjoyed playing golf and Bridge, he was an executive with Linkbelt Chain for 30 years, and then became a realtor with Caldwell Banker Kaiser. He was an amazing husband , father, and grandfather. He graduated from St. Pete’s Highschool in Saginaw and from Central Michigan University with a degree in accounting. John is Survived by his loving wife Kay M McMullen; Daughters, Ann McMullen, Lisa Fero, (Steve), Son, Michael McMullen (Lisa). Stepchildren, Lisa Hignite, Elizabeth Novak (Tom), Darrin Cassidy (Tracy), Angie Laker (Dale), Jimmy Sadler, Daughter in Law, Melisa Cassidy, and two loved others Patrick Tyler, Destiny Brock. A total of 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. He was proceeded in death by stepson Sgt Gerald J Cassidy II (Iraq), and Mother in Law Deannie McCarty. Visitation will be Tuesday June 18th, from 10-11 am, Mass from 11-12 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at Geist with Father Phil presiding. John had asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to his disabled granddaughter Sarah Flanders. Please send contributions to Sarah Flanders Trust Fund.
